Our Membership Continues To Grow at Hudson!

UNITE HERE represents close to 800 Hudson News workers at airports across the county. In March, 400 Hudson News workers at Newark, LaGuardia and JFK airports joined their brothers and sisters working at Hudson News who were already members of UNITE HERE. They were soon followed by Hudson News workers in Baltimore, Rochester and Fort Lauderdale.

Six UNITE HERE local unions across North America now represent Hudson workers in nine airports:

These workers enjoy the benefits of having a union, including affordable, employer-paid health insurance and dignity on the job.

Ken Ewing, Hudson shop steward at Newark International Airport, is proud of "a contract we can stick by."

Hudson workers in New York and New Jersey ratified their first contract in March 2007.
