Disneyland hotel workers feel wrath of "electronic whip"

October 21, 2011

In this week's Los Angeles Times, columnist Steve Lopez, took readers into a side of Disneyland most people never see. He described the laundries of the Disneyland and Paradise Pier hotels where workers are surveilled by a monitor system some have come to refer to as the "electronic whip." The "whip" has left workers feeling frustrated, rushed, pressured and worthless. Some workers skip bathroom breaks for fear their production will fall and managers will discipline them. Read Lopez's column.

TAKE ACTION: Sign the petition demanding Disney take down the monitors and start treating workers with respect!
