AIRPORTS
UNITE HERE members work in food and beverage and retail concessions in nearly 70 airports in the US and Canada. We work for many of the large airport concessions operators such as HMSHost, SSP America, Delaware North and Hudson. We are cooks, bartenders, waitstaff, cashiers and stock attendants, and we are proud to take care of you as you travel and welcome you to our cities.
UNITE HERE members also take care of you while you’re flying. Nearly 10,000 UNITE HERE members are employed by Sky Chefs and Gate Gourmet, the two largest in-flight catering companies, in kitchens at airports around the continent, preparing food for serving and sale onboard.

OUR HISTORY
UNITE HERE has organized waiters, waitresses, cooks, and bartenders for over a hundred years since it first received its charter from the American Federation of Labor as the Hotel and Restaurant Employees International Alliance in 1891.
